
‘Call’ deadline is February 15, 2022
The Rhode Island State Council on the Arts announces a Call for Artists for artwork for the Rhode Island College John E. Fogarty Life Science-Zvart Onanian School of Nursing building. It will be commissioned through Rhode Island’s Allocation for Art in Public Facilities Act, which is a program in which the State recognizes, “public art creates a more humane environment: one of distinction, enjoyment, and pride for all citizens”.
Established in 1854, Rhode Island College (RIC) is the state’s first public institution of higher education. The Zvart Onanian School of Nursing at RIC is committed to providing the highest quality undergraduate and graduate nursing education at an affordable cost to a student population diverse in terms of culture, ethnicity, gender and age.
