Artist Bio: Patricia is dedicated to teaching curriculum through the arts.  Specializing as an Arts Integration Teaching Artist, she holds an MFA in Dramatic Arts from The George Washington University and a Certificate of Advanced Study in Arts Integration from the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, DC.
Committed to working with educators of all disciplines in grades 6-12, Pat will work with you to create innovative and fun standards-based arts integrated lessons which engage students while increasing their retention of the curriculum.

The Education Director manages granting, professional development, and policy programming initiatives that support the arts as integral to K-12 education and the daily lives of Rhode Island children and youth. The Director works within state government, and in partnership with community-based arts and education organizations, to carry out the program’s vision. City of Providence Seeks Program Director for Turnaround Arts

The City of Providence was selected by Turnaround Arts, a signature program of the President’s Committee on the Arts and the Humanities and the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts to bring integrated arts education into three Providence public middle schools. Turnaround Arts leverages its network and coordinates with local artists and school arts teachers and principals for non-arts outcomes. Turnaround Arts also beautifies the school and invests in culture and climate improvements that, as research shows, contribute to academic improvements. This position reports to the ACT Director and will work closely with partners in Providence Schools and other constituencies to manage all aspects of the program including fundraising, stewarding partner and funder relationships, building-level implementation of Turnaround Arts: Providence, strategic planning, budgeting, staffing, systems management and compliance with the policies of Turnaround Arts: National. This is a full-time, dedicated position.
