This month, we are reminding teaching artists to create or update their profile on New England’s celebrated artist directory, known as CreativeGround. Once joining, you can now ensure that you will get noticed. To learn more and get the most out of your profile, view this Webinar.
When working on your profile, you will need to provide the following:
Contact information
Images of your work
If you have a website, the URL.
For the “Artists Only” section, select “Teaching Artist.”
Some examples of R.I. profiles are: 15 Minute Field Trips; MJ Robinson; Lon Plynton; and Tape Art.
CreativeGround is New England’s community-generated, free, online arts and culture directory that provides visibility, connection and information to support a regional creative network. Completely free to use, this is a great tool for artists to showcase their work and indicate what jobs, gigs or commissions they are available for.
CreativeGround is operated by the regional arts agency New England Foundation for the Arts (NEFA). If you want assistance in creating or updating your profile, you can schedule a virtual 30-minute meeting with someone from NEFA’s CreativeGround team, by clicking here. Office hours are on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
