The 2017 group of artists chosen for the RISCA-MassMoCA Assets for Artists collaboration is meeting for the first time at the RISCA Offices in Providence.
Assets for Artists — a collaborative program providing a range of support services for creative entrepreneurs — is administered by MASS MoCA, the Midas Collaborativeand Arthome, in cooperation with many local partners.
The artists chosen for the 2017 class include Bradford Allard, Serena Bates, Claire Bowen, Evan Katz, Richard Lynn, Julie Munafo, Caitlin Osso, Jennifer Walstead. Thanks to a grant from the U.S. Department of Agriculture, we were able to choose artists from more rural areas of our state.
The first gathering of this group is being led by Esther Robinson of ArtHome, along with Blair Benjamin from MassMoCA.
