Context: Financial tech company moving into a large permanent office would like to have a Rhode Island based artist create permanent or semi-permanent art on two walls. These two walls are in different rooms. Art needs to be fun, interesting, and match the casual feel of a tech company’s office; the pieces will be 2 dimensional and directly on the wall. Artist will be working with both the interior designer and a facilities staff member from the company.
Process: Artist(s) will be selected based on their portfolio. Once they have been selected, they will tour the space, see the interior design plans, and create a sketch of their proposed piece. This will then be discussed with the interior designer and company staff representative, and either approved or asked for 1 round of revisions. After approval, artist will install the piece in the offices. We are hoping to have the pieces installed by the end of March, so be prepared to move rather quickly.
