Joint survey between UWRI and Grantmakers Council of RI collects information on the impact of COVID-19

The Grantmakers Council of Rhode Island (GCRI) and United Way of Rhode Island (UWRI) are partnering on a time-sensitive survey to better understand, support and advocate for the needs of our community partners. The survey is designed to gather current information on the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the nonprofit sector in Rhode Island, as well as the resources and infrastructure necessary for recovery, resilience and impact in the future.

It is essential that funders, policymakers, and the public have an accurate picture of the resource and capacity building needs of a broad cross-section of nonprofits, so we ask that you take the time to complete this important survey by September 3. It should take 20-30 minutes, and respondents will be entered into a drawing for $50 and $100 Amazon gift cards, as a small token of our appreciation. Many GCRI funders are distributing this survey, so if you receive multiple invitations to complete it, please only do so once.

Individual survey results will be confidential. Data will only be made public in aggregate form.

Once the data is compiled, GCRI and United Way will be offering a webinar to share the results. The invitation for the webinar will be shared through the GCRI Connect newsletter for nonprofits. If you do not currently receive GCRI Connect, email nancy.wolanski@uwri.org to be added to that mailing list.
