The Department of Art, Culture + Tourism (ACT) is commissioning a total of four temporary public art installations for PVDFest 2018. The deadline to submit qualifications is December 18th 2017 at 5:00 PM. Eight finalists will be invited to submit full proposals and four artists will be commissioned for $2500 works.
Our RFQ is open to individual artists, artist teams, and nonprofit organizations. Preference will be given to artists, practitioners, and scholars who live or have a business/studio address in Providence, RI.
Selected works will be installed prior to the start of PVDFest 2018 and remain installed for up to one week after the festival concludes.
