MUSICWORKS NETWORK FELLOWSHIP: JOB DESCRIPTION
Community MusicWorks is now accepting applications for the 2018-2019 MusicWorks Network Fellowship.
The MusicWorks Network Fellowship is an intensive research and development practicum, supported by a grant from the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation, that will take place from July 2018 through June 2019. The 2018-2019 Fellow will support the MusicWorks Network’s endeavors to identify, research, and document successful approaches to supporting college-going identities among students at Network organizations.

RESIDENT MUSICIAN, CELLIST: JOB DESCRIPTION
Community MusicWorks seeks a cellist to join the CMW faculty for the 2018-2019 academic year.
The Resident Musician will play multiple roles that include teaching cello lessons and string ensembles, performing as a member of the MusicWorks Collective, and coordinating various aspects of CMW’s educational programming. The successful applicant will be joining a community of musicians who are passionate about exploring and building the connections between music and social justice, who are dedicated to continual growth and learning, who strive to build strong relationships with young musicians and their families, and who enjoy the challenges of both collaborative and individual work.
This is a one-year position, with the possibility of transition to a permanent position after the first year. The position requires an average of 30 hours / week, including many weekends and evenings, and includes health and dental benefits.
