Teaching artists! Time to update or create a profile on region’s artists directory

This image has an empty alt attribute; its file name is creative-ground-logo.png This month, we are reminding teaching artists to create or update their profile on New England’s celebrated artist directory, known as CreativeGround. Once joining, you can now ensure that you will get noticed. To learn more and get the most out of your profile, view this Webinar. When working on your profile,  you will need to provide the following:
  • Contact information
  • Images of your work
  • If you have a website, the URL.
  • For the “Artists Only” section, select “Teaching Artist.”
Some examples of R.I. profiles are: 15 Minute Field TripsMJ RobinsonLon Plynton; and Tape Art. CreativeGround is New England’s community-generated, free, online arts and culture directory that provides visibility, connection and information to support a regional creative network. Completely free to use, this is a great tool for artists to showcase their work and indicate what jobs, gigs or commissions they are available for. CreativeGround is operated by the regional arts agency New England Foundation for the Arts (NEFA). Calling All Portrait Artists!

Every year RISCA receives requests for referrals. We are looking to build a comprehensive state-wide roster of artists working in different disciplines as a resource. This month we are focusing on artists who specialize in Portraiture. Create or update your CreativeGround profile today- be sure to provide your Rhode Island address, contact information, images of your work, website if available, and most importantly include the word Portraits in the description field in order to be found in Search inquiries. Register today! to be considered for future inquiries

CreativeGround is New England’s community-generated, free, online arts and culture directory that provides visibility, connection, and information to support a region-wide creative network. Assets for Artists rolls out free winter workshops

The winter and spring workshops will be online.
